So I’ve officially crossed skydiving off of “the list” (…of things to do before I die)!
I bought the certificate to go a while back and finally used it this past Friday. It was probably one of the most brilliant things I’ve ever done. The place was down in Eloy, so at 14,000 feet you can pretty much see everything. When you’re that high, it’s really quiet and as terrifying as some may think, it’s really serene. It makes you really see and appreciate the beauty God’s created!
I went tandem, which basically means I was firmly attached to a knowledgeable person on the way, which was rather comforting. His name was Sam. Here’s Sam hugging me upon a safe landing.
Even though I crossed that off, I’ve decided to add getting my skydiving license to the list. Which is pretty expensive, but I’m thinking it would be totally worth it. How awesome would it be to be able to jump out of a plane anytime you want? Pretty epic, I’ll say.
